Welcome to the MacKomics Studio website! Hello, and welcome to 2011! I will be phasing out this website in favor of an etsy site (same name) since this site has not worked properly and is perhaps not the best fit! I currently post all news and new products on my Facebook Fan page. For those of you unfamiliar with those types of Facebook Pages, one does not need to be a participant in Facebook to see a Fan Page. Please feel free to peruse these webpages here at MacKomicsStudio.com as I would be happy to ship, make or re-create almost anything seen here, however nothing new will be posted. Please contact me at liza@mackomics.com with ANY questions! In the mean time, please "Like" my MacKomics Studio Facebook Fan Page or just check out the latest. I will be creating a blog in the near future to document art projects not directly related to the business of MacKomics Studio, so watch for that announcement! These projects have heretofore been posted on Facebook and include, but are not limited to, work from the new Four Rooms Collective, 31 Doodles in December, and a dress a month from SewLoquacious.blogspot.com's Dress-Up 2011 challenge. For those who followed my intermittent postings here, thank you so much, and I hope you migrate over with me! Wedding Themed Cards, Television Appearance, and Upcoming Shows
On August 14, 2010, I will be interviewed live by Stephanie Ramos on WIBW Television: Topeka. She is hosting a series of wedding-themed shows and I have prepared several new beautiful card selections to display on her show. These include numerous "Will you be my bridesmaid?" cards, a congratulations to the groom card, a "Will you be my maid of honor?" and a lovely 1920's card embellished with pearl rice. In conjunction with Bettie's Bows, I have developed a collection of hair accents that can be customized to match the wedding colors; with the Bride's being more elaborate than the Bridesmaids' which are incorporated into the bridesmaid's invitation. (See the MacKomics Studio Facebook Page for a link to the video)
